She has lived in her home for 29 years and was ready for a change so she put her house on the market and was in the process of buying her dream condo in June 2017. The deal fell through as there was a problem with Bank of America and paperwork since the place was technically an apartment and not a condo?! She said the agent for the Seller was not very helpful at all and seemed like they could care less, so she’s frustrated. It was a 3 bed 2 bath on the 3rd floor with an ocean view, needed some renovation, but she thought it was a great deal for $750K. Address: XXXX La Jolla Blvd SD in the Bird Rock Area.

She put her current home on the market, had an Open House, 5 bed, renovated in 2013, with solar panels paid off, new A/C for $1.1 Million. She thought they might have priced it wrong because there was no interest and only 3 people came to the Open House.

They are both Engineers, no kids and she works in downtown SD and husband works on 163 & Balboa, so a home close to that area would be great so they wouldn't have to commute too much. She's relocating from Georgia to SD for work (originally from Sacramento) Works as Mammogram Tech (flexible clinic locations in SD, her job is waiting on her preference) She's looking to rent first to see if she likes the area then buy in the same area in January. She asked which area is better La Jolla or Point Loma? The most important thing is a good school for her 5 year old daughter (asked if I was familiar with Sunset View School?) and a diverse community. She would love 2 Bed 2 Bath near the water and sunset view if at all possible (She said it can't hurt to ask right?).  She was in SD this past week but didn't mention looking at properties.
